Impact Resistant and Durable

Compared to other foaming filaments, ASA Aero offers greater toughness and stronger layer bonding, making it more resistant to impacts, collisions, and drops. This makes it well suited for demanding applications that require durability.

Ultra-Lightweight with Adjustable Density

With a density of only 50–75% of standard ASA prints, ASA Aero is ideal for weight-sensitive projects such as RC aircraft and UAVs. Its controllable foaming properties allow you to reduce print density further by increasing the printing temperature or lowering the flow rate.

Designed for Outdoor and Harsh Environments

Compared to PLA Aero, ASA Aero provides superior resistance to heat, water, and UV exposure, making it an excellent choice for long-term outdoor use and challenging environmental conditions.

Matte Surface for Easy Coloring

ASA Aero features a matte finish that is easier to color and offers better dyeing results than standard ASA filament.

Printing Tips

  • ASA Aero requires proper drying and accurate print settings. Please review the ASA Aero Printing Guide before printing.
  • Recommended drying conditions: 80°C for 8 hours. Because ASA Aero is highly sensitive to moisture, drying the filament before use and after storage is strongly recommended. For more details, please refer to: Filament Drying Recommendations.
  • To reduce warping, avoid printing large models with high infill. Use an enclosed printer, apply glue to the build plate for better adhesion, reduce print speed, and increase the heatbed temperature. For more details, please refer to: Common print quality problems and solutions.
  • Printing may produce strong odors. Ensure the printer is used in a well-ventilated area and, if possible, inside an enclosed printer.
