The Filament Sensor monitors the filament feeding status in real time, helping to prevent print failures and improve overall printing efficiency. When printing with multiple filaments, it detects both filament input and output and communicates this information to the AMS, enabling smooth and automatic filament switching. It can also identify filament jams and immediately send an alert to the printer, helping ensure reliable and uninterrupted printing.
