Ready for Outdoor Applications

Built to withstand challenging outdoor conditions, ASA-CF offers excellent resistance to sunlight, rain, and changing weather conditions. It is well suited for automotive accessories, protective enclosures, outdoor equipment, and other applications exposed to the elements.

Improved Stability for Large Prints

Large functional parts require excellent dimensional stability. Compared with standard ASA, ASA-CF offers reduced warping and improved dimensional control, helping produce larger prints with greater reliability and fewer adjustments.

Carbon Fiber Reinforced Strength and Rigidity

The carbon fiber reinforcement increases the stiffness and rigidity of printed parts, helping structural components maintain their shape under mechanical stress. This makes ASA-CF suitable for brackets, jigs, drone components, and other demanding functional applications.

Excellent Heat Resistance

ASA-CF is designed to maintain its shape and mechanical performance at elevated temperatures. With a Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of up to 108°C, it is suitable for automotive components, outdoor installations, and industrial applications.

Professional Matte Finish

In addition to its engineering properties, ASA-CF provides a refined matte surface with a subtle texture. The finish helps reduce the visibility of layer lines, resulting in clean and professional-looking prints directly from the printer with minimal post-processing.

Compatibility

ASA-CF is compatible with most FDM 3D printers on the market. However, an enclosed printer is recommended to achieve optimal printing performance and reduce the risk of warping.

Recommended Drying

For optimal print quality, dry the filament at 85°C for approximately 8 hours before use.

Filament Ring

Function: Designed to reduce the risk of spool delamination caused by moisture and friction against the cardboard spool. It is also compatible with the AMS system, where contact with the cardboard spool can cause wear and increase the likelihood of delamination.

Printing Tips:
  • PETG is the recommended material for printing.
  • If the fit is too tight, set the X-Y Hole Compensation and Contour Compensation to 0.1 mm for a better fit.
